Nostalgia! Exhibition

Bringing Old Hollywood To The Shire!

Glamour, reminiscent of the golden era of Hollywood, is coming to Bedford this June with a stunning exhibition of 1930's and 1940's inspired black and white portraits at the Animal Studio & Gallery .

The ‘Nostalgia!’ exhibition opened yesterday and will run until Saturday July 4th showcasing the photography of Bedford photographer Jez Brown / Jez Brown Photography and the expert styling of Bedford’s vintage hair and make-up artist Sarah Dunn / Sarah's Doo-Wop Dos

I was lucky enough to be involved in some shoots for the exhibition and invited along to the opening night party!

I went for a 60's theme with a new to me 1960's brocade cocktail dress from Female Hysteria and 60's wicker lucite handle bag from Sticky Lipgloss .

One of my new favourites in the vintage collection, and it fits like a glove!

Just one of the walls covered in Nostalgia beauties, all prints available for purchase, and re prints will be available after the exhibition doors have closed.

A selection of reference books & magazines, and beautiful biscuits by Restoration Cake

Outside performance of toe tapping rhythms and perfect harmonies from two of vocal trio My Favourite Things , every taxi driver was swooning over these ladies!

Make sure you get yourself down to the exhibition at Animal Studio & Gallery this week, and purchase some beautiful photos, perfect to add a nostalgia feel to any home, or garage!

Don't forget to contact Jez Brown for re prints, I hear there is also talk of a book so make sure you like his page to keep up to date!
