Lou Lou's Vintage Fair Northampton Review

Arriving at the Guildhall and finding a queue of vintage enthusiasts waiting for the doors to open on Lou Lou's Vintage Fair Northampton, was a reassuring sign that this wasn't a fair to be missed!

Entry to the fair was only £2, with a selection of tea & cakes and vintage make up and hair styling available by appointment.

The stalls ranged from ceramic homewares, 40's-60's clothing, vintage jewellery, reproduction clothing and other delights, covering two beautifully ornate halls in the centre of Northampton.

A beautiful range of brooches and head wear on offer, I'm sure the turbans sold quickly, a good cover up for a bad / greasy hair day!

One of the first things I spotted, a mint green vanity set in perfect condition.

All wrapped up, head to toe setting off to the fair, and my one purchase, a marbled green and gold ring for a bargain £6.

Whilst there was a lot on offer, the few things that did catch my eye I felt I could find cheaper on Etsy or eBay, though it all comes down to your personal choice on what you want to spend and I'm sure the traders had a great day.

For anyone dipping their toe into the vintage world, they wouldn't / couldn't have left Lou Lou's Vintage Fair empty handed.

I did leave with slight regret not buying a deadstock NOS green 60's sweater that had just come out of the packet, but hopefully I will be able to track the trader down at another event.

Make sure you pop by to the next Lou Lou's Vintage Fair in Northampton on the bank holiday weekend, 23rd May or follow them to another fair across the country!
