All the events are at a secret location in Milton Keynes, only disclosed once a ticket has been purchased. Previous events have been era orientated with the Spitfire Party being the last one in May.
The Jump Joint was a night of 'Rockabilly Mayhem' with music from The Broadway Twisters and The Shellac Melters, and performances from the fire eating hot cat Tallulah Blue.
I was on hairdresser duty for myself and my two sisters resulting in three different 1950's style do's, a bobby girl look of a high ponytail and front roll, classic pin curl brush out and a dita inspired page boy do. All fly aways kept at bay thanks to Suavecita Pomade!
We were all styled in 1950's reproduction clothing, left to right, voodoo vixen top from Pin Up Girl Clothing, polka dot dress from Collectif and gingham bust dress from Bernie Dexter via A Typical Girl Clothing.
After sinking a few sailor jerry's whilst getting ready, it was off to the Jump Joint! Everyone was dressed to the nines with Vivien Of Holloway dresses left right and centre, it was easy (and good!) to forget you were in Milton Keynes.
With speciality cocktails and your ticket providing you with a seat and somewhere to leave your belongings, there was a great atmosphere and it didn't take long for everyone to take to the dancefloor to jive and swing until it was kicking out time!
I think it's safe to say everyone who attended the sell out event had a wild time, and the organisers must be proud of all the hardwork they put in!
